One particular solution that I saw work for several people was not an option for me. Basically, if a solution has been posed online in a readily accessible article or reddit post, I have likely tried it, and I have gone through the motions with support, too. I have attempted to make some gamesettings.ini changes based on what WB Games support told me, but I don't even have a gamesettings.ini (maybe because I haven't been able to launch and it was never created). I am sure I'm forgetting a couple of the other things I have done, too, but the results have not changed. I do not use my Windows Firewall, so it is not blocking anything relating to the game. I have restarted steam and my computer and reinstalled the game. I have tried different compatibility versions. I have tried to run both steam and the game as administrator. ![]() I updated my AMD graphics drivers for my 6900xt to the newest version (23.3.1). I have tried fixes I have seen everywhere. When I click to launch the game, it briefly says "launching" or "running." However, I never see it appear in Task Manager, and after a couple of brief seconds, it returns to the green "Play" button on Steam (and the "Launch" button when I was trying it in Epic). ![]() ![]() I am having the worst time with the steam version of Hogwarts Legacy, and I was having the same issue with the Epic Games version before I returned it, too.
